Drug Possession, DUI Charges in Cheshire

Police also report breach of peace and criminal trespass charges.

The provided the following charges and arrests:

Steven Miller, 38, of 426 Mansion Rd., was charged on Aug. 15 with breach of peace in the second degree after police responded to a call at 581 Highland Ave. about a disturbance being caused by a patron. He was issued a misdemeanor summons and is scheduled to appear Wednesday at Meriden Superior Court.

Jason Bednarz, 21, of 132 Birch Dr., was charged with possession of narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia, operating a motor vehicle while under suspension and failure to wear a seatbelt on Aug. 19. He was released after he paid a $5,000 casch bond and is scheduled to appear on Wednesday at Meriden Superior Court.

Eiler Suarez Menses, 22, of New Haven, was arrested after a car accident and charged with evading responsibility, operating under the influence of drugs/alcohol, operating a vehicle without a license. He was released on a $1,000 bond and will appear in Meriden Superior Court on Aug. 30.

Chhanna Mak, age unknown, of East Haven, was arrested for disorderly conduct/assaultive and criminal trespass in the second degree on Aug. 17 after police responded to a domestic dispute at 496 Spring St.

Michelle Anastasio, 23, of 1490 Waterbury Rd., was arrested on Aug. 16 and charged with DUI and failure to drive in the right lane. She was released on a $1,000 bond and will appear Friday in Meriden Superior Court.

Bola Kim, 26, of Hamden, was charged with breach of peace in the second degree for a verbal argument that occurred at Bartlem Park on Aug. 6. He was issued a misdemeanor summons and was scheduled to appear last week at Meriden Superior Court.

Anthony Doneday, 21, of 83 Popular Dr., was charged with breach of peace in the second degree and interfering with an emergency call on Aug. 4 after police responded to a argument in progress at Birch and Tulip Drive between a resident and the driver of a car. He was to appear in Meriden Superior Court on Aug. 6.
