DUI and Threatening Charges in Cheshire

The first week of March sees an uptick in DUI arrests.

Here is this week's list of charges from the

John Bartley, 49, of Windsor Locks was charged on March 3 with breach of peace at 1:53 p.m. He was arrested for threatening the owners of Willow's Motor Sports at 1555 Highland Ave. in Cheshire.

Thursday, March 1

Luis Stuart, 73, of Waterbury was charged with failure to have insurance, misuse of a license plate, failure to display a license plate, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle on Marion Road at 1:09 p.m.

Dethi Chino-Lazaro, 30, of Meriden was chagred with operating under suspension, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and failure to have insurance on Academy Road at 4:53 p.m.

Randy Theriault, 28, of Southington was cited for a cell phone violation on West Main Street at 5:07 p.m.

Okeroghene Okifo, 18, of Naugatuck was charged with operating an unregistered motor vehicle on Yalesville Road at 11:37 p.m.

Nathaniel Tencza, 35, of Meriden was charged with driving under the influence and failure to drive right on Academy Road at 11:49 p.m.

Friday, March 2

Andrew Cimma, 38, of Higganum was charged with a cell phone violation, failure to return an expired license plate, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle on South Main Street at 10:00 a.m.

Michael Zaccarino, 21, of Hamden was charged with operating under suspension and failure to carry insurance on Maple Avenue at 4:45 p.m.

Saturday, March 3

Paul Gunneson, 51, of 764 Devonwood Dr. was charged with traveling unreasonably fast on Moss Farms Road at 5:15 p.m.

Walter Moran Moros, 40, of West Haven was charged with failure to obey a traffic control signal on South Main Street at 9:05 p.m.

Lois Walters, 48, of 1170 Reservoir Rd. was charged with traveling unreasonably fast on Highland Avenue at 10:11 p.m.

Sunday, March 4

Michael Dichello, 38, of Hamden was charged with traveling unreasonably fast on Mountain Road at 12:38 a.m.

Roger Grant, 42, of Naugatuck was charged with operating an unregistered motor vehicle on Highland Avenue at 1:08 a.m.

Colleen Akin, 20, of Souhtington was cited for a cell phone violation on South Main Street at 11:18 a.m.

Vincent Deluca, 46, of 531 Maple Ave. was charged with operating an unregistered motor vehicle on West Main Street at 3:53 p.m.

Anatoly Zayaruzny, 65, of 249 Guinevere Ridge was charged with traveling unreasonably fast on Moss Farms Road at 6:41 p.m.

Shayma Bakre, 27, of Waterbury was charged with operating an unregistered motor vehicle on Highland Avenue at 7:29 p.m.

Phon Tram, 27, of Bristol was charged with operating an unregistered motor vehicle on Byam Road at 11:41 p.m.

Monday, March 5

Yomar Rivera, 20, of New Haven was charged with failure to have insurance, failure to appear, misuse of a license plate, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle on South Main Street at 12:34 a.m.

Ning Meng, 35, of 615 Alpine Dr. was charged with traveling unreasonably fast on Moss Farms Road at 6:25 p.m.

David Devylder, 56, of 53 Jocelyn Lane was charged with driving under the influence, failure to have insurance, and failure to wear a seat belt on Jinny Hill Road at 4:12 p.m.
