DUI Charges and Evading Police in Cheshire

Thursday, January 26

Eric Descault, 25, of Plymouth was charged with risk of injury to a child, engaging an officer in pursuit, reckless endangerment, reckless driving, interfering with an officer, evading responsibility, and failure to obey a stop sign at 9:10 p.m. He was released on a $10,000 bond and was scheduled to appear at Meriden Superior Court on January 27.

Brenda Vandunk, 54, of Bristol was charged with sixth-degree misdeanor larceny following a complaint of a theft at 475 Knotter Drive at around 8 p.m. She is court date at Meriden Superior Court on February 8.

Friday, January 27

Fernando Mendez, 39, of Meriden was charged with operating an unregistered motor vehicle on Highland Avenue at 5:53 a.m.

Karen Senich, 44, of Southington was cited for a cell phone violation on Highland Avenue at 3:14 p.m.

Gail Huntley, 59, of 59 Cherry Street was cited for a cell phone violation on Highland Avenue at 3:37 p.m.

Jonathan Hallenback, 55, of Watertown was charged with traveling unreasonably fast on Waterbury Road at 4:43 p.m.

Thomas Ford, 40, of 12 Fernwood Lane was charged with operating under suspension, failure to return license plates, and failure to obey a stop sign on South Brooksvale Road at 5:02 p.m.

Cameron Dunn, 21, of Prospect was cited for failure to obey a control signal on Waterbury Road at 5:04 p.m.

Robert Kraznowski, 44, of 1741 Musso View Avenue was cited for failure to obey a stop sign on Byam Road at 5:39 p.m.

Mark Capaldo, 41, of Wolcott was cited for failure to obey a stop sign on Byam Road at 5:57 p.m.

Nicholas Lesky, 20, of 34 Nathan Hale Court was cited for failure to obey a stop sign on Meriden Road at 9:09 p.m.

Saturday, January 28

Robert Hamelin, 30, of Meriden was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration following a motor vehicle stop for a registration violation.

Yamilette Toro, 30, of Meriden was charged with operating an unregistered motor vehicle on Highland Avenue at 4:04 p.m.

Sunday, January 29

Elizabeth Dietle, 51, of 15 Sorghum Mill Rd. was charged with speeding in excess of sixty miles per hour on Yalesville Road at 1:03 a.m.

Shane Desjarlais, 28, of Middletown was charged with operating an unregistered motor vehicle on Highland Avenue at 1:17 p.m.

Sandra Alicea, 25, of Stratford was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and failure to display license plate on Highland Avenue at 4:31 p.m.

Terri Conlon, 50, of 844 Cornwall Avenue was charged with driving under the influence and traveling unreasonably fast on Peck lane at 4:54 p.m.
