[UPDATE] Female Victim Indentified in Cheshire Crash

The Cheshire Police Department report the fatal accident victim from Wednesday's crash is Barbara Lazarus of Cheshire.

The 62-year-old died Tuesday afternoon, according to police, after her car hit a tree at the intersection of Cornwall and Oak Avenues.

Police say the Cheshire Fire Department began extrication of the victim and emergency crews began treatment but she was declared dead at the scene. 

The accident is under investigation and police say no other cars were involved.
