OMG PD: Granite and Metal Thefts

Unusual police incidents from around the area.

A Guilford man was arrested for allegedly stealing more than  from Branford property at the Stony Creek Quarry. It is believed that he built a wall for someone with the granite block. All total, 100 to 130 tons of stone were taken. He was charged with first-degree larceny.
