Cheshire Arrests Increase During Holiday Season

DUI, speeding and an increase in disorderly conduct charges in this week's police report.

Saturday, December 10

Michael Corbett, 52, of 460 Oak Avenue was cited for speeding on Yalesville Road at 12:36 a.m.

Gerald Dicunzoio, 52, of Lloyd Neck, New York was cited for passing in a no passing zone on South Main Street at 3:55 p.m.

Nicole Bousquet, 41, of Beacon Falls was charged with operating an unregistered motor vehicle on Highland Avenue at 6:39 p.m.

David Myers, 37, of East Hartford was charged with operating an unregistered motor vehicle on Highland Avenue at 8:04 p.m.

Michael Doherty, 23, of Cromwell was cited for failure to drive in the proper lane on Highland Avenue at 11:23 p.m.

Sunday, December 11

Justin Bunnell, 18, of Wallingford was charged with speeding in excess of 60 mph on Yalesville Road at 8:55 p.m.

Monday, December 12

Sajmir Gega, 37, of Waterbury was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, making a restricted turn, and failure to return license plates on West Johnson Avenue at 12:22 a.m.

Kenneth Lee, 53, of 250 Mountain Rd. was charged with disorderly conduct at 9:57 a.m.

Sang Hein, 44, of Waterbury was charged with disorderly conduct at 9:57 a.m.

Shabnam Hashemiyeh-Fahadani, 40, of 215 Moss Farms Rd. was charged with failure to obey a control signal on West Main Street at 11:17 a.m.

Patrick McNally, 47, of Wallingford was charged with driving under the influence and traveling unreasonably fast on Cook Hill Road at 4:40 p.m.

Marc Mann, 30, of Bloomfield was charged with operating an unregistered motor vehicle on Highland Avenue at 4:50 p.m.

Scott Thorn, 30, of 803 Cook Hill Rd. was charged with failure to renew license on South Meriden Road at 5:18 p.m.

Ronald Painchaud, 55, of 61 Frances Ct. was charged with operating an unregistered motor vehicle on Knotter Drive at 7:13 p.m.

Phyllis Drost, 49, of Waterbury was charged with operating a motor vehicle on Cook Hill Road at 7:24 p.m.

Robert Nunez, 20, of Waterbury was charged with operating an unregistered motor vehicle and misuse of license plate markers on West Johnson Avenue at 5:48 p.m.

James Waterman, 40, of 45 Willow Street was charged with disorderly conduct at 9:44 p.m.

Speeding is one of the stupidest motor vehicle violations. Don't people realize how dangerous it is to speed? There's nothing so important to get to that it's worth risking your life and the lives of those on the road with you. Crazy people.
