DUI on Waterbury Road; Speeding and Possession Charges

Police charged a number of drivers with speeding while DUI arrests continue.

Saturday, December 24

Kwadwo Appiah, 49, of East Hartford was charged with passing in a no passing zone on South Main Street at 2:24 a.m.

Tuesday, December 27

Sherry Salatto, 43, of South Main Street was charged with traveling unreasonably fast, failure to drive right, and evading responsibility at 12:39 p.m.

Wednesday, December 28

Robert Biehn, 50, of Creamery Road was charged with traveling unreasonably fast and failure to obey a control signal at 8:32 p.m.

Thursday, December 29

Eric Sylvester, 21, of Southington was charged with possession of less than a half ounce of marijuana and failure to drive in the proper lane at 1:35 a.m.

Saturday, December 31

Henry Carisio, 54, of Nathan Hale Court was charged with allowing a dog to roam at 1:26 p.m.

Sunday, January 1

Brandon Young, 23, of Naugatuck was charged with driving under the influence and following too closely on Waterbury Road at 1:20 a.m.

James Fraser, 50, of Wolcott was charged with operating an unregistered motor vehicle and misuse of a license marker on Waterbury Road at 3:32 a.m.

Shovkat Pulatov, 33, of New Britain was charged with risk of injury to children, breach of peace, and criminal mischief at 5:48 a.m.

Monday, January 2

Salvatore Delucia, 47, of Bethany Mountain Road was charged with disorderly conduct at 8:43 a.m.

Tuesday, January 3

James Ewings, 19, of Academy Road was charged with failure to appear at 6:35 a.m.
