Report: Man Killed on I-691 in Southington

A Waterbury man was pronounced dead following an accident Saturday.

According to the Hartford Courant, a Waterbury man died following a fatal accident on I-691 on Saturday.

The Courant identified the victim as George Abouanni, 27. Abouanni was the only person involved in the one-car accident.                    

The accident reportedly tied up traffic between Southington and Cheshire.
