State Police Ramp Up DUI Patrols For Labor Day

Full list of where state police officers will be doing roving patrols and sobriety checks.

The Connecticut State Police will be conducting roving patrols and sobriety check points throughout the state over Labor Day Weekend. The ramped up patrols will target drunk and distracted drivers and speeders.

Here is the list of patrol areas:

Central Connecticut

September 1

Roving Patrols: Interstate 84 east and westbound, west of Interstate 91, Route 66 in Middlefield

Sobriety Checkpoints: Interstate 91 Exit 6 on-ramp in New Haven

Roving Patrols: Interstate 91 north and southbound, north of Interstate 84, to include Route 291; Interstate 91 within troop I patrol area

September 3

Roving Patrols: Interstate 91 north and southbound, south of Interstate 84

Western Connecticut 

September 1

DUI Sobriety Checkpoint: Route 6 at the Plymouth/Bristol town line

Roving Patrols: Route 8 in towns of, Torrington, Litchfield and Harwinton; Interstate 95 between New Haven & Stamford; and Route 25 and Route 8 between Bridgeport, Trumbull, Shelton; Route 8 and Interstate 84 exit 18 to exit 23 in the greater Waterbury area; Route 8 Limited Access Highway and Route 4 in Winsted, Barkhamsted, and New Hartford

September 2

Roving Patrols: Route 8 in towns of Watertown, Torrington, Litchfield and Harwinton; Interstate 95 between New Haven & Stamford; and Route 25 and Route 8 between Bridgeport, Trumbull, Shelton; Route 8 and Interstate 84 exit 18 to exit 23 in the greater Waterbury area; Route 7 and Route 44 in North Canaan, Falls Village and Norfolk

September 3

Roving Patrols: Route 44, Route 202, Route 219, and in Torrington, New Hartford, and Barkhamsted; Route 8 and Interstate 84 exit 18 to exit 23 in the greater Waterbury area
