Three Students Charged After Investigation Finds Marijuana Sales at CHS

Police have charged three juveniles in connection with the sale or possession of marijuana after Cheshire High School staff alerted officers to a potential sale at the school.

Officers have charged three Cheshire High School students with various possession of marijuana or sale of marijuana charges after a staff member at the school discovered that one of the students was dealing the substance on school grounds, police said.

The Cheshire Police Department responded to the school last week after a school resource officer was alerted about an alleged drug deal that had taken place at the school.

A police report said officers investigated, learning that there was three students involved and were able to identify the students as having sold or purchased marijuana on school grounds. The names and ages of the juveniles were not released due to state statutes, police said.
