[UPDATE] Death of Missing Wallingford Man Accidental

Body in woods discovered by Cheshire police.

The death of an 85-year-old Wallingford man whose body was found in north Cheshire has been ruled accidental, the Meriden Record-Journal reported.

According to the paper, the state Medical Examiner's office said William Ohr died of hyopthermia. He had been missing since May 30 and a Silver Alert had been issued by the Wallingford Police Department.

Cheshire Police Lt. James Fasano told Cheshire Patch that police found the body Thursday at 3:17 p.m. after they got a call about a truck in the woods off Diana Court. "The driver was a short distance away. There were no visible injuries, he was deceased."

Fasano said Cheshire officers are working with Wallingford police to determine how Ohr got to the location off East Johnson Avenue. Diana Court is a short no-outlet street lined with light manufacturing businesses.

There was no foul play involved, Fasano said.
