A Tribute to Veterans on Cheshire Green

About 150 residents, veterans and families gathered at the Cheshire Green on Friday for the annual Veterans Day observance sponsored by the Cheshire Veterans Council. 

Speakers were Cheshire High School student John O’Reilly, Marine veteran Tom Duhig and Navy veteran John White. 

O’Reilly spoke about the new high school club called BRAVE that will will honor World War Two veterans on December 7, Pearl Harbor Day. 

Members of the Cheshire High School VIP Chorus sang the National Anthem and “America the Beautiful.”
