Cheshire Goes Green Oct. 19

Have an old computer or printer and don't know how to get rid of it? Next month you can drop it off for free at Cheshire High School

From the Town of Cheshire: 

In an effort to help Cheshire “Go Green,” the town of Cheshire is hosting a free community wide electronics recycling event on Saturday, Oct. 19 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Cheshire High School, 525 South Main St.

Cheshire residents and businesses are encouraged to drop off their electronic recyclables at no charge.

Acceptable items to recycle include 

  • computers, 
  • monitors, 
  • printers, 
  • televisions, 
  • copy machines, 
  • stereos, 
  • modems, 
  • telephones, 
  • VCRs, 
  • DVD players, and 
  • batteries.

Only recyclable electronic items will be accepted at this event.
