Cheshire School Art Exhibit

A view of the latest town-school art partnership exhibit at Town Hall.

Artwork done by the town's elementary school students receives a wider audience through revolving exhibits in the Town Hall lobby. The most recent show is by Doolittle and Chapman Elementary School students.

The school art display program is a volunteer program between Town Hall staff volunteers and Michael Earley, chairman of the Cheshire High School Art Department.

Because there are few opportunities for the wider public to see students' artwork Earley said the Town Hall display provides a year-round review of what students are learning in the district's art programs.
