Storm Debris Collection at 50 Percent
Cheshire crews have collected storm debris from about half of the town.
The town has picked up branches and debris left from the October snow storm from about half of Cheshire since the collection began on Nov. 10.
The remaining areas to receive service beginning Thursday are:
- west of Route 10 and north of Route 68
- east of Route 10 and south of Route 68
The state is responsible for collecting debris on state Routes 10, 42, 68 and 70, according to the town. Because no schedule has been set for pick up on the stte roads, residents are urged to put their debris out immediately.
