Cheshire Town Manager Gets Praise, Raise from Town Council

Town Manager Michael Milone got a vote of confidence — and a raise — last week when the Town Council approved extending his contract through 2016.

Milone will receive the same raise that other town employees got — 2.8 percent. The council voted unanimously on the item after it met in executive session at the end of Tuesday's monthly meeting.

The raise brings Milone's salary to $142,425.

Milone has worked for the town for 23 years, the last 13 as town manager.
