Cheshire's Pasqualoni at Capitol

Husky Day at the State Capitol was particularly significant this year given the national achievements of the UConn athletic teams.

Governor Malloy and the Connecticut General Assembly honored the University of Connecticut's major sports teams at the State Capitol on Wednesday.

UConn became the first university to send a football team to a BCS bowl game and both its basketball programs to the Final Four in the same academic year.

Sen. Len Suzio, R - Meriden welcomed new UConn Football Coach, Cheshire native Paul Pasqualoni, to the Senate Chamber.
