Young Democrat organizations will sponsor a debate Tuesday at 7 p.m. between three Democratic candidates for the 5th District seat.
Those scheduled to attend the debate are:
- State Rep. Chris Donovan, D-Meriden
- Elizabeth Esty of Cheshire
- Dan Roberti of Kent
The race promises to be eventful one because incumbent Congressman Christopher Murphy is running for a U.S. Senate, leaving an open seat for the congressional race.
The debate will be moderated by Scott Bates, a member of the Democratic State Central Committee.
The debate will be held at Chase Collegiate School, 565 Chase Parkway, Waterbury.
