Election 2012: Breakdown of Cheshire Voters by Party

Cheshire added about 635 new voters since January.

There are 18,806 registered voters in Cheshire, which is roughly 64 percent of the town's 29,000 population.

Like most of Connecticut, unaffiliates make up the majority of registered voters in town, numbering at 9,214, according to Republican Registrar of Voters Susan Pappas.

Pappas said 635 voters registered in town since January.

Here's the full breakdown of registered voters in town:

  • Democrats: 4,896
  • Republicans: 4,565
  • Unaffiliated: 9,214
  • Other: 131
