Remembrance Day on 9/11 Includes Moment of Silence

State residents are asked to observe a money of silence on Sunday morning.

In recognition of Honor our Heroes and Remembrance Day, Gov. Dannel P. Malloy has directed flags to fly at half-staff on Sunday.

Malloy also asks residents to observe a moment of silence at 8:46 a.m., the time American Airlines flight 11 struck the North Tower of the World Trade Center.

Also on Sunday in Cheshire, a town-wide memorial service will be held on the Church Green at 1:30 p.m.
