Rep. Vickie Nardello Endorses Chris Murphy's Senate Campaign
Murphy campaign plans to release new endorsement each weekday in September.
State Rep. Vickie Nardello, D-89, who has represented Cheshire since 1994, announced this week her endorsement of U.S. Rep. Chris Murphy (D-5) in his bid for the U.S. Senate.
"I have worked directly with Chris while he served in the Connecticut General Assembly. His leadership skills were evident immediately because he was willing to take on difficult issues that others avoided," Nardello said in a statement.
Murphy announced his candidacy in Cheshire in January to replace retiring Senator Joe Lieberman. Murphy's campaign said he has outraised his opponents 2-1.
