The last day for residents to use the town's Transfer Station will be tomorrow, June 25, from 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The closure is part of budget cuts in the town budget for the fiscal year which begins on July 1.
A private transfer station owned by AJ's Waste Systems LLC at 22 Burton Dr. will be available to accept refuse as well as the HazWaste Central location in New Haven.
The two locations are available to town residents who wish to dispose of bulky and hazardous waste items that are not accepted in the weekly trash collection.
