'Solarize Cheshire' Holds Workshop Wednesday
Solarize Cheshire is part of Solarize Choice, a unique solar purchasing program that uses discount pricing from pre-selected, competitively chosen solar installers.
Come by the Cheshire Public Library Wednesday at 7 p.m. to learn more about Solarize Cheshire and how going solar could save you thousands on your electric bill.
Participants also can meet Cheshire’s three chosen solar installers and solar homeowners in Cheshire.
Solarize Cheshire is part of Solarize Choice, a unique solar purchasing program that uses discount pricing from pre-selected, competitively chosen solar installers along with town-supported education and outreach to dramatically reduce the cost of solar.
As part of Solarize Choice, contracts must be signed at the end of twenty weeks or Tuesday, April 8, to participate.
“Solarize Cheshire is a great way for residents to get answers to the many questions that often arise with solar," said Cheshire Town Council President Tim Slocum.
"This program demonstrates that Cheshire cares about energy alternatives and the environment," he said, "and underscores our interest in keeping Cheshire affordable. It’s another example of what makes Cheshire one of the 40 best towns in America.”
