A New Year for Cheshire School Art Exhibits in Town Hall Lobby
The new school year brings delightful student art to the lobby of Town Hall. This month, enjoy art from Darcey and Highland Schools.
While Cheshire schools are decorating with pumpkins and scarecrows, the lobby of Town Hall also has new decor; student artwork from Cheshire Public Schools.
The Town Hall exhibits allow residents to enjoy the art which is displayed for a month before another student show is installed. The program began in 2010.
The displays are organized by the volunteer Artwork Committee which consists of employees from the offices of the Town Clerk, Assessor, Public Works and Registrar of Voters. The group helps install and remove each of the revolving exhibits.
