Cheshire Rotary Recognizes Two Students

Sixth graders receive the "Unsung Student Award."

Two sixth grade Cheshire students were honored recently by the Cheshire Rotary Club, for the "Unsung Student Award."

The honorees are:

  • Rebecca Allen, Grade 6, Chapman School
  • Callie Parlier, Grade 6, Highland School.  

They girls were honored for their positive attitude, hard work, class participation, initiative and kindness to others. All the traits of future Rotarians!

Winners were selected by teachers and the administration of their respective schools. The students receive the Unsung Student Certificate and a $100 gift card to a book store to encourage reading. 

Each school year, six students receive the award, one from each of Cheshire's four elementary schools, one from Dodd Middle School and one from Cheshire High School.
