Nearly two dozen school personnel retire this year.

The following school personnel were honored by the Board of Education for their years of service to Cheshire Public Schools.

  • Jo-Anne Bailey, 31 years, Transportation Department secretary
  • Carol Bennett, 22 years, Highland School secretary
  • Donald DeLorenzo, 48 years, Dodd School guidance counselor
  • Bonnie DiMauro, 18 years, school nurse
  • Frank Hill, 35 years, CHS social services counselor
  • Marybeth Hill, 40 years, Norton first grade teacher
  • Barbara Iamele, 30 years, Highland School special education teacher
  • Jeffrey Bovi, 35 years, Chapman school physical educaton
  • Theresa Brennan, 12 years, CHS math and computer teacher
  • Susan Bucari, 21 years, Dodd math teacher
  • Laura Jean Castagnola, 24 years, Darcey school teacher
  • Karen Conrad, 36 years, Central Office secretary
  • Ellen Speirs, 13 years, CHS teacher/librarian
