Cheshire Students Receive Scholarships

Three Cheshire High School students receive $1,000 each.

Three college-bound Cheshire students were recently awarded $1,000 scholarships from the 2012 Dunkin’ Donuts Connecticut Franchisee Scholarship Program.

The students; Lena Capozzi, Brendan Smalec, and Sharon Turret where chosen out of field of 3,000 applicants, according to a statement.   

The students were selected for the scholarship on the basis of a character, including a positive academic record, demonstrated leadership in school and community activities.
