CHS Marching Ram Band Does It Again

They came out on top again last weekend in competition and will soon host their own event at the high school.

The Cheshire H.S. Marching Ram Band did it again!

The marching band took the field at Sheehan High School’s “Marching Titans Showcase” show in Class 4 competition Saturday and came out on top again, outscoring the other bands and taking best overall performance!

The show, “New World,” is based on Dvorak’s New World Symphony arr. by Frank Sullivan. It is a constantly evolving, developing work, and by the time they arrive on the field for their exhibition performance at the 30th anniversary hosting of Music In Motion on Oct. 12 at 4 p.m., it will be a tremendous performance not to be missed!

So far 16 marching bands from across the area will be taking the field, including Central Connecticut University’s Blue Devils.
