Business Building Seminar Series

the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce (GNHCC)’s Small Business Assistance Center (SBAC) will present a four-part business building series, entitled ‘A Small Business Seminar Series.’ The sessions will run each Thursday morning in May, from 8-9: 15 a.m., at Wells Fargo Bank, 205 Church St., New Haven, CT.

Made possible by a generous grant from Wells Fargo, the seminars are free and open to the public. Each of the four individual sessions will focus on issues critical to growing a business. Participants may attend those sessions that interest them most. The sessions are: Session 1: Thursday, May 5, The Business Plan: Your Roadmap to Success, presented by Jim Jackson, President and CEO, The Essex Group. Session 2: Thursday, May 12, Financing Options, presented by Debbie Clancy and Lynn Kornita, Wells Fargo. Session 3: Thursday, May 19th, High Impact, Low Cost Promotion and Marketing, presented by Rosann Levy, President, The Roart Group. Session 4: Thursday, May 26, Selling, presented by Gene D’Agostino, Vice President, Sandler Training/TEM Associates.

The SBAC serves as a source of information, offering workshop training, resources and referrals for start-up and existing small businesses. The SBAC also produces the annual Small Business Academy, a business-training course designed to help individuals start or expand their own business. Entrepreneurs may also take advantage of the Chamber’s Co-Working Concierge Service, which offers shared workspace, professional mailing services, phone, and more.
