The Suburban Garden Club of Cheshire will be holding a meeting that is open to the public on Wednesday, October 19, 2011. The speaker is Adam Wheeler of Broken Arrow Nursery, Hamden. He will be giving the presentation “Fire Engine Red, Russet and Bronze: A Look at Trees and Shrubs for Fall Color.” Adam manages the plant propagation and the acquisition and development of new plants at Broken Arrow Nursery. There is a suggested donation of a $5.00 for non-members. Refreshments begin at 7:00 PM and the program begins at 7:30 PM.
