Senior Josh Skydel surprised Junior Kayleigh Torok on Thursday night when he asked her to the prom by spelling out the word "prom" on a pizza with, what else, pepperoni.
Torok was suprised and pleased by the gastronomic gesture. She said "yes" and enjoyed the rose that came along with the clever invitation.
The two were attending a fundraising event at Grande Apizza called "Tip-a-Student," to support a group of students who will travel to Italy during the April school break.
Torok is one of 17 students who will travel with English teacher Dawn DeMeo to Rome, Florence and Venice on April 13.
