Turf Field and Track Construction at Cheshire High School to Begin on Thursday
Less than two days after the project was approved, contractors will be on site to begin the construction of a turf field and replacement track at CHS.
Construction will begin Thursday at Cheshire High School for a new artificial turf athletic field and a replacement track.
Vincent Masciana, Director of Management Services for the Cheshire School District said in media statement Wednesday that a ground-breaking ceremony will be held tomorrow at 10 a.m. at the main field at CHS.
"... the contractor, R.A.D. Sports, is ready to go and expected to have construction vehicles onsite first thing in the morning with work to commence immediately following the ceremony," Masciana said in the statement.
