Varsity baseball:

Cheshire Academy had an outstanding pitching performance on May 2 by Evan Solomon shutting down Wilbraham and Munson with a complete game 3 hit outing.  Evan controlled the entire game by striking out 8 batters while only surrendering a single run in the second inning.  Will Woods led the Cheshire offense with a three run triple as well. 

Cheshire Academy team lost May 7 to an inspired Chase Collegiate team as Riley Streit pitched a complete game holding CA to three runs.  Chase's record now stands at 8-4 while Cheshire falls to 4-8.  The game was right through 4 innings as Mitch Graham matched Streit giving CA the 2-1 less through four. Unfortunately in the fifth inning several errors created opportunity for Chase and they capitalized.
