Cheshire Girls Swim Team Wins Second Meet

The Rams team rules the pool; plus this week's CHS sports schedule

Cheshire High School girls swim coach Dan Mascolo reports the Rams won their meet 93 to 69 against Shelton on Monday.

Here are the stats:

  • 200 medley relay: C (Laura Mongillo, Taylor Deubel, Delaney Molnar, Jenna Cannata), 2:03.06;
  • 200 freestyle: Denise Costello (C), 2:08.10;
  • 200 individual medley: Jessica Pool (S), 2:19.47;
  • 50 freestyle: Mongillo (C), 27.63; 100 butterfly: Molnar (C) 1:06.99;
  • 100 freestyle: Tie-Sara Barlok, Maegan McGee (C), 58.78; 500 freestyle: Barlok (C), 5:40.92;
  • 200 freestyle relay: C (Barlok, Tiffany Wang, McGee, Cannata) 1:48.55;
  • 100 backstroke: Phillips (C), 1:12.50;
  • 100 breaststroke: Deubel (C), 1:11.90;
  • 400 freestyle relay: S (Jennifer Gulick, Tiffany Wronski, Carolyn Rennie, Jessica Poole) 4:11.00

Records: Cheshire 4-0; Shelton 0-4.
