Cheshire Youth a Finalist in a Football Video Contest

Vote for your hometown boy, Ty White, who is in the running for a grand prize in The Salvation Army's "Boys of Fall" contest. Voting ends today at 4 p.m.!

A Cheshire fourth-grade student, Ty White, is one of 10 finalists in a national contest sponsored by The Salvation Army and your vote can help him win.

White, a player on the Cheshire Junior Football team, made a tackle during a game in the area recently. His family entered a video the tackle on YouTube and submitted it to the "Boys of Fall" contest.

Out of 200 entries, The Salvation Army narrowed it down to 10 finalists. The winner of the poll wins a trip for four to Dallas to see the Cowboys Thanksgiving Day game against the Washington Redskins

Voting ends at 4 p.m. today.
