Cheshire Land Trust - Stewardship Day - March 10th

The Cheshire Land Trust invites all Property Monitors, Land Trust Members and all in our community to join us in a day dedicated to conducting site visits to every property stewarded by the Trust. The event will begin at 9:00 a.m., at Bartlem Park, in the rear pavilion, where we will all meet for morning refreshments and prepare for the day.  Teams will be assigned specific properties.  An overview of the process and instructions for completing the Monitor Report will be provided.  Between 9:30 and 10:00 teams will be sent to their assigned property to conduct their visit.  Property visits may take between 30 minutes and an hour or two, depending on the size and terrain of the property.  Reports will be returned via mail to the Land Trust when completed.   The purpose of conducting these site visits will be to identify any changes to these properties, whether natural or manmade, so that appropriate measures may be taken if necessary.
