Kristine Drust Named Cheshire High's Newest Softball Coach

Drust, whose husband coaches the high school's football team, is the third coach for Cheshire in the last three years.

Kristine Drust has been named Cheshire High School's new softball coach, after she served as an assistant during the 2013 spring season.

The Cheshire Citizen reports that Drust is the third softball coach for the high school in the past three years, after Kathleen Hoag had the job this spring and her twin-sister Maureen DiSorbo held the job in 2012. Meanwhile Drust's husband Don Drust is the head coach of the Cheshire High School football team.

“Family is so important to us,” Kristine Drust told The Cheshire Citizen. “We are so close and to be together at the same school, we are so happy things worked out this way. We love being a part of the Ram family. We just had our two-year-old son Brewer photographed with his Cheshire helmet and jersey.”
