<p>The Cheshire McDonald's was rebuilt and reopened in June, 2011 with a 24-hour drive-through, flat panel television, free wi-fi and energy efficient lighting.</p> <p>McDonald's has come a long way since the first location opened in 1940 in San Bernardino, California. Today, the world famous fast food restaurant still serves a variety of burgers, sandwiches, shakes and fries that are all purchasable through the covenient and speedy drive through window.</p> <p>However, McDonald's has adjusted its image and menu selection to keep up with the times. Healthier alternatives are now available including many salad and fruit options. It also offers free wi-fi and sells several hot and cold coffee beverages in the McCafe.</p>
