Associated with the YMCA of Southington, this 11,000-square-foot location contains a modern health and wellness center, is home to Sea Dogs, a nationally recognized swim team and houses a Kid's Zone, a child-care service for members while they workout. Membership prices vary, with several different plans and financial assistance available for those who qualify. Upon joining, the health and wellness center offers a free consultation with a certified professional, a free equipment orientation and a free body fat test. Personal training sessions and an extensive selection of classes are also available, as well as various programs that change seasonally. The Kid's Zone, with six classrooms and an outdoor playground, has more than 400 children enrolled, making it the largest child-care facility in Cheshire.
