I enjoy reading the Milford Patch and 'Patch' pubs covering other towns, and am proud of my recently upgraded status as a Patch bloggist! I especially like the interactive capabilities and the fact that the editors and writers are local and active in the communities they cover. I've been a Milford resident for 10 years (with a slight 1.5 year hiatus on assignment in Florida).  I am an entrepreneur (pr/marketing consultant) and just celebrated my 22nd anniversary.  I'm an active member of the Milford Chamber and Founder - 2006 & Past Chair - '06 & '07 of the MCC Health & Wellness Council.  I wholeheartedly recommend Chamber membership to anyone looking for the best marketing, networking, and promotional bargain around! I'm mom to two grown children (boy, girl) and proud grandma to 3 wonderful grandchildren (7, 10, & 13). My furry 'boss' is a 12 lb. red mini-dachshund - his fancy official name is Haute Doggee, but he likes to be called 'HD.' I enjoy volunteering in various community activities. I was a founding member of the Trumbull Arts Festival (raised my children in Trumbull) and it's Arts Council. I am organizer of a meetup.com group (free to be a member, free meetings) called the CT Public Relations & Integrated Marketing Group (CT PRIM). Those meetings are posted on the Milford Patch in the events section.
