Center for Women's Health to Host "Girl Talk" Lecture May 6

“SHOULD I OR SHOULDN’T I?” TOPIC OF “GIRL TALK” LECTURE MAY 6 AT MIDDLEBURY CONSIGNMENT SHOPS HOSTED BY THE CENTER FOR WOMEN’S HEALTH The May 6 “Girl Talk” program hosted by The Center for Women’s Health titled “Should I or Shouldn’t I?” will cover the topics of fibroids, polyps and heavy bleeding. The informative talk will be presented by Dr. Joseph David Millerick and Dr. Elizabeth Kelly, physicians with The Center for Women’s Health, on Monday, May 6 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the elegant and upscale ambiance of the distinctive Middlebury Consignment Shops in Middlebury. This will be the sixth in a series of “Girl Talk” lectures that were launched in October 2012 focusing on women’s health and wellness. The series is being hosted by The Center for Women’s Health in Connecticut in collaboration with Naugatuck Valley Radiology Associates, and is scheduled for thefirst Monday of most months in the café of the widely-popular Middlebury Consignment Shops. To add to the relaxing and luxurious atmosphere of each presentation, a variety of Connecticut wines and other beverages will be served along with light gourmet fare. During the May 6th lecture, Dr. Joseph David Millerick and Dr. Elizabeth Kelly will discuss the latest techniques in health care including robotic surgery, endometrial ablation and medical management of these common but troubling conditions of fibroids, polyps and heavy bleeding. The Center for Women’s Health in Connecticut (www.womenshealthct.com) has offices in Waterbury and Southbury and is a member of Women’s Health Connecticut. Their offices provide comprehensive gynecology and obstetric care to women of all ages, and have been serving women throughout the region for over 40 years.
