Cello, Piano Concert

The Cheshire Public Library's Sunday Showcase
series continues this fall with the return of two exceptional
artists. Tanya Anisimova on cello and
Pi-Hsun Shih on piano will perform  a Slavic and slavically inspired program.
The duo will perform the Mendelssohn Sonata in D and Chopin Sonata in G,
both for cello and piano. In addition, they will do two miniatures: Song Without
Words by Mendelssohn and the Chopin's Étude in a cello and piano transcription. This concert is free to the public
and is funded by the Friends of the Cheshire Public Library.

Tanya Anisimova is no stranger to Cheshire audience and has wowed
them on several occasions with her meticulous and passionate
performances. Last year she was joined by the equally gifted
pianist Pi-Hsun Shih and they now return in this encore
performance.
