Cheshire Historical Society - Sunday Afternoons at the Hitchcock-Phillips House Museum

Except for holiday weekends, the Hitchcock-Phillips House will be open to the public every Sunday, 2-4 p.m. from April through the end of the year. It is also open by appointment on other days. Call 203-272-8771 to schedule a visit.

Please stop by and see the Parlor, the Dining Room, the Keeping Room, Toy Room, Tool Room and more!  See what life was like more than 100 years ago when there was no electricity, no supermarkets, no computers! What did people do?  Come to the Hitchcock-Phillips House and find out!

Cheshire has a rich history and the Cheshire Historical Society is a good place to find out more about that history. There is a history game for children and a self-guided tour of the Cheshire Church Green. Docents are usually available for a tour of the House.
